We still need softer skills, like empathy, to move our workforce and our world forward. And we can’t look at the two areas in silos. Instead, we should strive toward a future where we’re able to fuse our technology and the devices we use everyday with the qualities that make us human - in essence, building empathy into the fabric of our devices and digital interactions. If we can do that, it’ll be super exciting to see how different industries will transform and intersect in the next several years, and what new jobs will emerge as a result.
